Manchester City were too good for Everton.
Gabriel Jesus was delighted his goal helped Manchester City wrap up a 2-0 win over Everton on Wednesday evening.
The Brazil international said the Citizens came to win at Goodison Park and is hoping they retain the Premier League title.
Late goals in either half from Aymeric Laporte and Jesus handed the away side the win on Merseyside as they went top of the league [on goal difference] for the first time since December 15th 2018.
And following the triumph, the 21-year-old striker said as BBC Sport quoted: "For me it is amazing, not just the goal but because the team played very well. We came to win the game and to work hard, we know that when teams come here it's so difficult. They have a lot of amazing players and an amazing manager.
"Everyone won the game. We know that it is going to be difficult. We want to play well in every game and at the end of the season we want the title."
