The France international joined Chelsea from Arsenal for £18milion in January, but his deal expires at the end of the campaign.
World Cup winner Olivier Giroud has revealed he is set to hold talks with Chelsea over a new contract.
The Frenchman, who was linked with Atletico Madrid, moved from the Emirates to Stamford Bridge in January, but his current contract with the Blues expires in the summer of 2019.
"No, I am happy here at Chelsea. I just arrived a few months ago and am just starting to settle well,” Giroud told the Standard.
"I still have one year (of my contract) to go with Chelsea, plus maybe another one. I'm going to discuss that with the club at the right time. There is no rush."
