Liverpool legend Graeme Souness says Allegri's Juventus need the Barcelona front three to have a bad night if they are to win the Champions League, but he doesn’t think that will be the case tonight.
The Serie A and La Liga champions - Juventus and Barcelona respectively - are going into this exciting tie on the verge of a treble, and the former Liverpool midfielder is backing the Catalans to seal the win over Juve.
"Both Juventus and Barcelona are going into Saturday's final in the most positive frame of mind," the Liverpool great told Sky Sports.
"Serie A has been won, La Liga's been won and they have won their domestic cups so both teams are going into it with great confidence. There will be a great mood around the clubs and they'll both believe they can win it.
"I think after Juve went to Real Madrid and won their semi-final, they’ll fancy they can do the same to Barcelona - but I don’t think they can. My hope is that they don’t turn up and try and nick the game. They didn’t do that against Madrid - they took them on.
"But Barcelona are a different team. They've got better players, who are playing to form. All their top men are bang at it. The three up front - Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar - get highlighted, and correctly so, but there’s a lot of other players playing to form right now in the Barcelona team.
"What you’re hoping is that all three of those forwards will have a bad night. I think Juventus have to pray those three have a bad night and all their players are playing to their peaks.
"That’s not going to happen," Souness added.
