Jurgen Klopp’s Reds are the best in the club's history, says Pep.
Pep Guardiola says his Manchester City side are battling with the greatest Liverpool side of all time for the Premier League title.
City bounced back to the top of the table after a 1-0 win over Tottenham on Saturday lunchtime, but Liverpool can move back ahead of the champions if they beat Cardiff on Sunday having played a game more.
Speaking in his post-match press conference, Guardiola said as the Mirror reported: "Especially after 100 points last season, we have the best Liverpool ever, and one of the best sides I have played against offensively, so being still there, with having one of the best players not being involved for much of the season (Kevin De Bruyne), and being there every few days it is really remarkable, and when I appreciate the most of my players."
On the winning the league, he said: "Of course we want to win it, but I will not judge if at the end we cannot do it, because I will give a lot of credit to Liverpool.”
