Liverpool are title contenders, says Pep.
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has issued a rallying cry to his Citizens ahead of their clash against Liverpool. The former Barca boss wants his side to be as intensive as Jurgen Klopo's Reds, who sit second in the Premier League table - one point ahead of Man City. "They are contenders for the title, definitely. I went to the game against Stoke and it was a good game," ex-Bayern Munich coach Guardiola told a news conference, Goal reported.

"I saw Liverpool many times and I was off [on Tuesday], my family weren't here - thank you Liverpool for the tickets - so I went to the game. "I don't know what will happen but I know we have to equal their intensity - [the atmosphere at] Anfield will play a big role."
