Los Blancos host the Premier League champions on February 26.

Pep Guardiola hopes David Silva will be fit for Manchester City's last 16 Champions League clash against Real Madrid next week.

Silva was substituted in City's 2-0 home win over West Ham United on Wednesday night after a strong tackle from Angelo Ogbonna.

However, Guardiola says it is nothing serious but he'll wait to see what the doctors have to say about the playmaker's fitness.

“He told me that he felt something,” Guardiola said. “But I don’t think it was a big issue.

“I will know (on Thursday) exactly. He played really well and we will see in the next days.

“He told me he had more caution after what happened near the goal. We will see with the doctors.”
