Guardiola lauds Klopp's title challengers.

Pep Guardiola believes title rivals Liverpool have everything.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has praised Premier League title rivals Liverpool, saying they are “one of the strongest sides he has faced” in his career.

Guardiola Citizens are in contention to win a historic quadruple, and they have a chance on Wednesday night to regain the top spot when they play relegation-threatened Cardiff City.

However, Guardiola says the Merseyside club have “improved a lot”.

"They are one of the strongest teams I have faced," he told Sky Sports. "They have everything. They have good tactics, they have great defensive strength, they have very good high pressing and they have a very good counter-attack.

"They had some problems with their positional play before, but that has improved a lot too. Liverpool have everything. That's why it's so close."
