Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola says his side's 4-0 defeat to Barcelona was not the worst of his career.
Lionel Messi's hat-trick and a Neymar strike helped Barca down Manchester City in the Champions League on Wednesday.
However, following the clash at the Camp Nou, Guardiola insisted a 4-0 defeat suffered at the hands of Real Madrid while he was at Bayern Munich in 2014 was his worst.
"The worst defeat of my career was with Bayern against Madrid," he said as AS reported.
"It was the whole situation and the mistakes I made with the starting line-up."
Guardiola hailed Barca's quality but also felt City did enough to get on the scoresheet.

"Last time with Bayern [in 2014] we didn't create chances but today we did, we created chances to score one or two goals," he said.
"But Barca can punish you, they have a lot of quality. We controlled, except the goal."
Big future for Malang Sarr.
