Liverpool captain happy with his side’s display against Porto.
Jordan Henderson was delighted with Liverpool’s 2-0 win against Porto in their Champions League quarter-final first leg clash at Anfield.
Jurgen Klopp's side now have a big chance of making the last four for the second consecutive season following the win over the Portuguese club on Tuesday night as Naby Keita and Roberto Firmino found the net.
However, after the match, Henderson praised the importance of their clean sheet.
"They're a good team with good players," the Liverpool captain told BT Sport. "You can see that they are dangerous going forward.
"They had a couple of half chances but overall we're pleased with the 2-0. The clean sheet is important.
"We wanted to come out in the second half and score a few more but that wasn't the case. Overall, we're pleased with the 2-0 to take over there."
