Monaco manager Thierry Henry has praised new signing Cesc Fabregas, saying the midfielder 'always makes the right choice' on the pitch.
The 31-year-old showed he's still got it as he made a sublime pass on his impressive debut for the Ligue 1 club.
Henry revealed Fabregas trained just once with his new team before making his debut in a 1-1 draw with Maresille on Sunday.
In a press conference, the Arsenal and Barcelona legend said: "Cesc trained once before the match. It would be extraordinary if we could already notice a Fabregas effect.
"It's true that when he plays, it's different. You can see he knows how to calm the situation. When I tell him to go left, he goes left. When you have to make a pass in the middle, he does it.
"In general, he always makes the right choice like yesterday, when he passed the ball to Yuri Tielemans at the last minute. He knew how to see and make this pass."
Henry recalled memories of when the Premier League great first arrived at Arsenal.
"Cesc has always known football. He never discovered it. I will always remember his first training session [with Arsenal]. He was playing against Gilberto Silva and Patrick Vieira, and they didn't see the ball and they didn't see him either. And we all turned around and said: 'the little one [Fabregas] must play.' And then the rest is part of history."
