If Jack Wilshere can stay injury free, he has a chance of becoming Arsenal captain for a very long time, according to Gunners great Thierry Henry.
The England international's career has been plighted with injuries and he hasn't featured for Arsene Wenger's side this season but widespread reports suggest he could be available for selection in January.
However, former Arsenal forward Henry is hoping to see Wilshere have a run of games in Arsenal’s first team in the coming seasons.
“I actually feel sorry for Jack. He loves Arsenal. He’s an Arsenal fan," Henry told Sky Sports.
“He’s never had a whole season to really see what he can do. We all know he has great potential.
"Arsenal have a great guy there that could be Arsenal captain for a very long time. Can he be injury free? That’s the only thing.”
