One of the most sought after strikers in this transfer window 'Jackson Martinez' is close to a move to AC Milan, according to the Colombian star's agent.
The 28-year-old, who scored a total of 32 goals in 42 appearances for Porto last season, has been linked with a move to Arsenal, Manchester City and other top clubs in Europe.
His buyout clause is £25m and Portuguese giants 'Porto' are ready to cash in on the Colombia striker Martinez - who has two years left to run on his current contract at the Estadio do Dragao.
However, Martinez's agent is positive a deal will be completed with the Serie A side in the next few days.
"I am optimistic on Jackson's move to Milan, but we're not quite there yet," agent Luiz Henrique Pompeo told EuroStadio.it in an interview.
"There is a good possibility we'll conclude the transfer, but we are not yet at the all-clear moment."
He added: "What I can say with certainty is that Martinez is a player worthy of a top club and Milan have history. The Rossoneri are not just a big club, but a huge one."
