JAGS ASKS FOR TRANSFER PATIENCE
Toffees defender Phil Jagielka has called on their fans to be patient, as he believes Everton's transfer business will go down to the wire.
Roberto Martinez's side have so far secured the services of Tom Cleverley and Gerard Deulofeu but are expected to sign River Plate defender Ramiro Funes Mori before the transfer window closes.
“We understand the fans are frustrated because we’ve not spent a lot this summer,” Jagielka is quoted as saying by the Liverpool Echo.
“The excitement of the transfer window (on TV) and it comes up and you’re hoping the guy presses your team and you see the green arrow and there’s this talk and all sorts.
“I understand all that but the way the window is that’s probably not going to happen until the last two days of this month.
“We’re not a team that spends £50m on someone whenever they want. Every million counts.”
