Despite uncertainty over his club future, Los Blancos star is focused on Colombia ahead of the Copa America.
James Rodriguez says his focus is on Colombia despite uncertainty over his club future.
The attacking-midfielder, who has spend the past two seasons on loan at Bayern Munich from Real Madrid, isn’t sure of where he will ply his trade next season.
After coming off the bench in Colombia's 3-0 friendly win over Panama on Monday, James said he is in “selection mode now” ahead of the Copa America.
"I'm in selection mode now," he said, via Marca Claro. "I'm calm and I just want to think about the Colombia team and later we'll see."
The 27-year-old added: "Physically I'm very good. I believe I am doing very well already. I just wanted to get here well and I'm on a very good road."
Colombia play Peru in a friendly on Sunday before their Copa America campaign, starting with a clash against Argentina on June 15. They also have tough games against Qatar and Paraguay in Group B.
