The Anfield legend didn't hold back after Liverpool lost 6-1 on the final day of the season to Stoke.
The disappointment of Liverpool's 6-1 defeat to Stoke has had fans speculating over Brendan Rodgers' future at the club.
#KloppForTheKop started trending in Liverpool - in reference to German manager Jurgen Klopp, who is currently looking for a club.
And Anfield legend Jamie Carragher has shared his thoughts on today's performance:
"Embarrassing day for all connected with LFC 6-1 is not acceptable," tweeted Carragher.
"Not seen anything but my son left at half time so it must've been bad!!"
Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has now admitted that his future is now in the hands of the club's owners, after his side lost 6-1 in what was a disastrous send off for club legend Steven Gerrard.
"The supporters deserve an apology for that. We were too easily beaten. We have to be better than that," he said in his post match press conference.
"The supporters have every right to be angry. We can have no complaints all of us. That was awful first half.
"I take full responsibility as manager. There is an awful lot of work to do. We finished sixth and that is where we deserve to finish.
"If the owners want me to go, I go. it is as simple as that. But i still feel I have a lot to offer here. Performances like today don't help you.
"I want to be here. There are a number of key elements of the performance that didnt surprise me. We will address those in the summer."
