New Barcelona signing Paco Alcacer is delighted to have sealed a move from Valencia to the Camp Nou and also spoke of moving up another level as he now trains and plays alongside the "best striker in the world", Luis Suarez.
Moving to Barca was an opportunity Alcacer could not turn down.
"Joining Barca is a step forward in my career,” he said. “You cannot let a chance like this pass you by.
"I've come to the best club in the world. It's a privilege for me, I will give it everything I've got and will try to score goals, which is what's expected of a striker.
"Here there are the best players in the world, to be alongside Luis, Leo (Messi) and Neymar will help me learn a lot and the first impressions have been very good."
Alcacer was presented by Barca on Thursday after joining the La Liga champions in a £27.3m move.
