The Northern Ireland international has struggled with injuries this term and Louis van Gaal may decide to cash in on him.
Jonny Evans could leave Manchester United for Everton this summer in a deal worth up to £10million.
Evans has endured a tough season under United boss Louis van Gaal, with injuries and a six-match ban for spitting blighting his campaign.
Van Gaal is understood to be ready to jettison Evans, 27, with Everton boss Roberto Martinez said to be keen on the centre-back, which could reach £10m with add-ons.
Evans has made just 17 appearances for United this season and has fallen behind Chris Smalling, Phil Jones and Marcos Rojo in the defensive pecking order.
With United chasing Borussia Dortmund's Mats Hummels and Valencia's Nicolas Otamendi, Van Gaal is looking to trim his defensive options, with Evans the likely fall-guy.
