José Mourinho was pleased with Chelsea’s dominant display as the Blues triumphed with a 3-0 win over

The West London club took the lead in the seventh minute with a tap-in by Oscar, Diego Costa scored his eighth Premier League goal in the second half before being substituted and Willian made it three with 11 minutes to go and Jose Mourinho was pleased with his team`s performance.

Mourinho told BBC Sport: “It was very good from the beginning.”

“Even during the period the game was 1-0, when it could be open, it was always closed because we controlled the game.

“We had a big percentage of the ball. When we weren’t dangerous we kept the ball. My four defenders and two midfield players were very solid. The result was a consequence of our dominance.”

The Blues boss also said: “The display allowed me to take off Diego Costa to give me a chance to play him on Tuesday [against Sporting Lisbon].”

Chelsea are still three points clear of Southampton at the top of the Premier League table.
