Juventus may look to secure Thiago Silva's services on a free transfer.

The Paris Saint-Germain centre-back's current seal at the Parc des Princes expires at the end of the 2016-17 season and the Serie A champions' CEO Giuseppe Marotta has revealed a move for the Brazil international could be possible.

Marotta told Rai: "'Thiago Silva is an exceptional player and I don't know what PSG's intentions are for the future.

"It could be an opportunity like we had in the past to go for Pirlo.

"A player considered by many to be 'finished', but proved to be a great deal on a free transfer for us."

The 32-year-old defender joined the Ligue 1 champions back in 2012 from Serie A giants AC Milan.
