Kepa needs support following his recent mistake - Chelsea manager Lampard.

Goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga has the full support of Frank Lampard after his error in Liverpool's 2-0 win over Chelsea on Sunday.

Lampard insists that the Chelsea shot-stopper 'must keep working' following his below-par display in recent matches.

The Spanish goalkeeper's error led to Sadio Mane's second goal in Liverpool's victory against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea were already a man down as Andreas Christensen was shown a red for a rugby tackle on Sadio Mane.

However, Lampard says Kepa will need to work hard to up his confidence.

"It's a clear mistake that has cost us," said Lampard of Kepa.

"We have to keep working, Kepa has to keep working and he has to have support around him, that's very clear.

"Individually players need support, particularly from myself, and I give that to all the players.

"And now we've got to try to give him confidence, because that's important.

"Nobody tries to make mistakes in football, that's the nature of the game."
