Klopp confident Coutinho will stay.

Klopp hopes for Coutinho stay.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp insists Philippe Coutinho's future is at Anfield, quashing rumours linking the midfield ace with La Liga giants Barcelona.

The former Dortmund boss would like to create an atmosphere where "no-one wants to leave" in order to keep the 24-year-old, who signed a new five-year deal with the Merseyside club last February.

The German said as Liverpool's official website reported: "The club is not a problem, our owners are not a problem. It is creating the perspective that no-one wants to leave. That is all it is about.

"Phil is still very young. He is 24 so he is still young and has a long way to go and a lot of space for improvement and development.

"With the team-mates he has around him it is getting better and better. I am sure he has only started and that is all good."
