Lampard plotting Drogba reunion.

Updated: Jun 17, 2019

Frank Lampard is already making plans for a potential return to Chelsea but this time as boss at the helm - and he is also plotting to take Blues legend Didier Drogba with him.

With Maurizio Sarri looking set to join Serie A club Juventus, the Derby County boss has been heavily linked with the potential managerial vacancy at Stamford Bridge.

The Sun reports that Lampard, who who won the Premier League, Champions League, Europa League, FA Cup and League Cup with the Blues, is working on taking his former teammate Drogba with him to the west London side as he is keen for the Ivorian to join his backroom staff as a striker coach, and will also take Shay Given with him as goalkeeper coach from Derby.
