Brazil star insists Chelsea's all-time top goalscorer would not lack support at Stamford Bridge.
Willian has giving his backing to Frank Lampard, saying the Blues legend would be "very welcome" back at Chelsea.
The winger, who is on international duty with Brazil at the Copa America, is convinced Lampard has the attributes to succeed at Stamford Bridge.
The former England international is the leading favourite to replace Maurizio Sarri at the west London side after the Italian left to join Juventus as head coach.
"He deserves so much respect and backing for what he has already achieved at the club," the Brazil international told Football London.
"If Chelsea do bring him in, he will be very welcome. Is he definitely going to be the next manager? I don't know. But I think he would be up to the task."
