Leicester have made no contact with Liverpool's Adam Lallana.

The Foxes have made no enquiries with Adam Lallana's representatives.

Brendan Rodgers says there is no truth in reports suggesting Leicester City have approached Liverpool star Adam Lallana.

The 31-year-old attacking midfielder is out of contract in the summer and various tabloids have reported that he will be heading to the King Power stadium at the end of the season.

But Rodgers insists the Foxes, who take on Manchester City at home on Saturday, have made no enquiries with Lallana's representatives.

“I’ve seen a lot of stuff around Adam and that we’ve approached Liverpool and what not, which obviously isn’t the case,” said Rodgers.

“But Adam is a wonderful player and not only that he’s got a great attitude.

“When I took him into Liverpool he was unfortunate early on with injuries, but he showed when he’s fit and available he’s a fantastic player.

“He’s at the stage of his contract where he will have options I’m sure.

“But certainly what’s been put out there over these last few days, it’s not the case.”

Lallana moved from Southampton to Liverpool for a reported fee of £25million back in 2014 and has scored 18 times in 126 Premier League games for the Anfield club.
