Leny Yoro Poised for Manchester United Debut Under Ruben Amorim

After months of waiting, could Leny Yoro finally be set to make his Manchester United debut? The 19-year-old defender, who joined the club from Lille for £52 million in July, has been sidelined with a metatarsal injury since pre-season.

After a successful surgery and recovery, new manager Ruben Amorim has given fans hope that Yoro may join the first team sooner than expected.

Originally, Yoro was scheduled to play for United's U21 side in their match against Altrincham. However, in a move that raised eyebrows, Amorim decided to pull him from the U21 squad altogether.

Was this a sign that the young defender is now considered ready for senior action? It certainly seems that way, as Yoro has been training with the first team all week and looked comfortable in a backline alongside experienced players like Luke Shaw and Jonny Evans during practice.

With United's first match under Amorim's reign coming up on Sunday against Ipswich Town, many are wondering whether Yoro will be named in the matchday squad. Could he make his long-awaited debut in the heart of the defence?

Although Amorim is known for favouring a 3-4-3 formation, the exact line-up remains uncertain, especially with key players like Matthijs de Ligt and Lisandro Martinez returning from international duty only recently.

Whatever the case may be, Yoro's journey to this point has been a rollercoaster. From being sidelined by injury to now potentially stepping into the spotlight, his moment at United could be just around the corner. Will Sunday be the day he finally dons the red shirt of Manchester United in a competitive match? Only time will tell, but the anticipation is building!
