Xherdan Shaqiri has received praise from Liverpool legend John Aldridge, who labbled the winger as Jurgen Klopp's best summer business.
Shaqiri has added quality in depth for the Merseyside club since his move from Stoke to Anfield during the summer transfer window.
Liverpool also signed Alisson and midfielders Naby Keita and Fabinho.
However, the Reds legend Aldridge has given the former Inter Milan and Bayern Munich ace his backing to continue his impressive impact on the team, as originally reported in the Liverpool Echo.
"When Shaqiri came on against Cardiff City the game changed and we became unpredictable," Aldridge wrote in his Liverpool Echo column.
"They seemed to have us boxed off before he came on but then his ingenuity, his experience, his movement and excellent passing changed everything.
"And what a goal too.
"The Swiss winger has put himself in a really good position, when he's played over the last few games he hasn't dropped below an eight out of 10.
"He's been absolutely excellent.
"I think Shaqiri at £13million seems to be the best bit of summer transfer business Klopp has done.
"We all knew the ability he had, he wasn't able to show it at Stoke but with Switzerland he did and now he's showing it for Liverpool.
"Jurgen seems to have found a role for him to link the midfield and the attack, it's what Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain was doing brilliantly before his injury.
"Shaqiri could be a massive player for us this season and his quality is great to watch."
