Victor Osimhen To Liverpool, A Possible Transfer?

Premier League leaders Liverpool have opened talks to sign Nigeria international Victor Osimhen, according to reports. The Lille striker, who recently revealed he is looking forward to playing ‘for a big club in England,’ has become one of the most sought after young players in Europe after his brilliant displays that has seen him score 18 goals in all competitions for the Ligue 1 club this season. It is believed the Osimhen's representatives have been speaking with the Merseyside club over a move to Anfield.

Only Neymar, Moussa Dembele, Wissam Ben Yedder, and Kylian Mbappe have scored more goals than the Osimhen in Ligue 1 this season.

The French club believe Osimhen’s price tag is around £58m and French publication Le10Sport say that the Reds are leading the race to sign the 21-year-old, with English clubs Manchester United, Leicester City, and Chelsea also monitoring the forward’s situation at the Stade Pierre Mauroy.
