MANCHESTER UNITED reject Nani is still dreaming of a shock return to Old Trafford.
The Portugal international has spent the season on-loan with Sporting Lisbon after being told he wasn't wanted at United.
Boss Louis van Gaal allowed the winger to leave after deciding he wasn't part of his long term plans.
Nani has featured in 34 games for Sporting this season and has impressed, scoring 11 goals and creating eight more.
The Portuguese outfit have first option to make his move permanent in a £10m deal.
Nani, however, admits he is unlikely to stay where he is and insists he has bigger ambitions.
It is understood the 28-year-old is still hoping to engineer a move back to United in a bid to prove he can fit into Van Gaal's plans.
At a promotional even in Portugal Nani said: "I'm fine here, but I have greater ambitions".
But Starsport understands Van Gaal has no interest in having Nani back and will be willing to sell him to the highest bidder this summer.
Van Gaal has seen Ashley Young produce some of the best form of his career this season, while the Dutchman is also closing in on a £25m deal for Holland and PSV Eindhoven sensation Memphis Depay.
