Luis Suárez Miramontes, aka 'Luisito', the only player born in Spain to have won the Ballon d'Or, spoke to MARCA shortly after celebrating his 80th birthday.
"It's not every day you celebrate such a milestone. I was moved by Barcelona giving me a shirt with Leo Messi's number 10 and my name on the back, and for Iniesta to be there; he's a player I admire because his vision of the game is like mine was", the legendary inside forward-cum-midfielder remarked about the tribute he was paid by Barça.
The Champions League semi-finals: "I've got a hunch it'll be another all-Spanish final. It's really strange that in 60 editions of the tournament, there's never been a Real Madrid-Barça final. It nearly happened on several occasions during my playing days but never did. The time has come.
“I think they're better than their opponents. However good their squad may be, Bayern are going to be severely weakened".
Juventus: "They don't need to play well to win. They've won four titles in a row in Italy because they're a cut above the rest, but they've found it more difficult in the Champions League. They parked the bus and then some in Monaco.
“They're very dependent on Pirlo, who isn't firing on all cylinders - he's recently come back from injury. Real Madrid are a stronger unit, leaving aside their individuals. I'd be wary of Tévez, though. He finds ways to score goals out of nothing and win games on his own".
Barça have the upper hand: "I think they're always favourites, every time they play. They have everything you need in a team, particularly in attack. With the trio they've got up front, the sky is the limit".
