Luiz urges duo to stay at Stamford Bridge.
David Luiz has pleaded with Thibaut Courtois and Eden Hazard to stay at Chelsea.
The Brazilian - who will be a key player under Maurizio Sarri - believes the Blues can cope if the pair decide to leave for La Liga giants Real Madrid.
“Chelsea wants for the best players to stay,” Luiz said as Euro Sport reported. “They know Chelsea a lot, so they know what they’ve had here, the fun they’ve had here.
“Everybody loves them and I hope they can stay. I want them to stay, because we have top players with the confidence.
“If they decide to leave, I think we will continue with fantastic players.”
Courtois has a year remaining on his contract at Stamford Bridge, while Hazard’s current deal expires in 2020.
