Harry Maguire says he respects Leicester City’s decision to snub Manchester United’s interest in his services.
The England international spoken publicly for the first time about his failed move to Old Trafford.
"I want to be on the pitch, whether it is for someone else or for Leicester," said the 25-year-old as Sky Sports reported.
"There was always going to be interest over the summer after the team doing so well in Russia but the owners reiterated I was not for sale and I respected their decision.
"They gave me the opportunity to play for this club, such a good club on the rise and I respected their decision.
"My mind has been fully on Leicester since then."
