Man City are not favourites against PSG, says Manuel Pellegrini.

Despite scoring two away goals as the Parc des Princes on Wednesday night, Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini says his side are not favourites to go through to the semi-final of Europe's elite competition.

The Citizens played out a 2-2 draw away to Paris St-Germain in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final, and a 1-1 draw at the Etihad next Tuesday would see City seal a spot in the next round.

"No, we're not favourites. Not before this game and not after," he said, as BBC Sport reported.

"Between big teams you never have a favourite. It will still be open.

"We must not talk about a semi-final," he added. "We must play the second leg not thinking we are already qualified. When we qualify, we can talk about other things."

Pellegrini will be succeeded by Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola this summer.
