Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany wants the Citizens to advance to the Champions League quarter-final in style.

Manuel Pellegrini’s side host Dynamo Kiev on Tuesday night and have an advantage heading into this clash after beating the Ukraine club 3-1 in the first leg.

“All of us are concentrated and will approach it as a game that stands at 0-0 and try to win it. And from there we will see," Kompany said.

"It has to happen first. I will put it this way. We have always said as a club we need to progress and with the Champions League it was the very first time as a club that we qualified.

“You know, reaching the quarter-finals would give us that little bit more experience and be exciting for the fans.”
