Leicester City player Marc Albrighton has said that he is happy about the Foxes fortunes in the year 2015.
Claudio Ranieri’s side go into 2016 joint-top of the Premier League after Tuesday's goalless draw with Manchester City. They are level on points with leaders Arsenal and three behind on goal difference.
“It’s been brilliant,” he told Foxes Player HD, Leicester City's official website reports. “I’ve really enjoyed myself and obviously to achieve what we did at the end of last season it was unbelievable – a minor miracle.
“We got out of that and stayed in the league then this season as everyone can see it’s been brilliant to be a part of such an amazing Club. We’ll hope to build on this and continue it into 2016.
The former Aston Villa attacker continued: “I feel fantastic. I struggled with injuries towards the later part of my Villa career and to be playing Saturday to Tuesday now when at that time I couldn’t imagine playing Saturday to Saturday… It was a nightmare but when you come off the back of a Saturday and Tuesday then look forward to another game on a Saturday, it’s brilliant.
“It feels good for me and if I can get my recovery spot on then I’ll be raring to go at the weekend if selected.”
