Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata has said the Red Devils are aiming to finish top of their UEFA Champions League group, and the Premier League by the end of the week.
Louis van Gaal's side will stay top of Group B if they can beat PSV Eindhoven at Old Trafford on Wednesday night.
United can also go top of the Premier League table if they beat Leicester City at the King Power Stadium in the late game this coming Saturday.
"We could make an important step to finish first of our group in the Champions League, and we could climb to the top of the Premiership. This is how we face this new week," Juan Mata wrote on his blog.
"We're feeling optimistic, as always, and our goal is to win both games and to have the best possible start to the busy period ahead.
"Obviously it's going to be tough, and we will need to be at our highest level to beat PSV and Leicester."
