Mathieu Debuchy has until Friday to discover if he would be having an ankle surgery. The France international confirmed he suffered ligament damage in Arsenal’s battle with Manchester City on Saturday.
The 29-year-old was carried off on a stretcher in pain during the 2-2 draw at the Emirates Stadium last weekend.
Debuchy used his Facebook page on Wednesday night to reveal the latest on his injury problem.
Debuchy wrote: “No fracture but one broken ligament, I have to wait until Friday in order to know if I must have surgery”
The right back has started all of Arsenal’s Premier League games this season since his move from from Newcastle United.
