MAURICIO POCHETTINO wants his players to match the commitment of former Spurs skipper Michael Dawson on his return to White Hart Lane.
Dawson's Hull need to win to have a chance of beating the drop while Spurs are limping into qualification for the Europa League - a competition they don't really fancy.
But Pochettino knows the supporters aren't happy about finishing below Arsenal yet again - and missing out on the Champions League.
As a result he is urging them to put on a show and put the Tigers to the sword.
The Spurs boss said: "Michael is an unbelievable professional and a fantastic person.
"His behaviour we expect to be professional and to try to win the game and the points.
"It's always difficult to play against a team that plays for survival in the Premier League.
"They have one, maybe two chances and this is the first for them, but for us we need to feel it's as important like them.
"We play to finish in the top five or six and we need to get the three points.
"We need to feel it's not only Hull who are playing for something important.
"Our motivation needs to be like them."
Pochettino has vowed to shake up the squad in the summer but Spurs will have a new look today.
They will be wearing next season's new home kit, which features six diagonal stripes, against the Tigers.
