Mauricio Pochettino signs new five-year deal at White Hart Lane.

Pochettino has inked a new deal

Tottenham Hotspur Manager Mauricio Pochettino and his first-team coaches Jesus Perez, Miguel D'Agostino and Toni Jimenez have signed contract extensions with Lilywhites until 2021.

The Argentine had verbally agreed to a new deal with the north London club recently and now they have confirmed Pochettino - who says it was an easy decision to pledge his future to Spurs - inked a new deal.

"I could not be happier to sign this contract," said Pochettino, speaking to Spurs' official website.

"It was an easy decision for my coaching staff and I because we can feel the appreciation of everyone here and there is no better place to be right now.

"We have enjoyed a great season and we believe this is just the beginning. We have a long-term project and huge belief that we can achieve something big here for the future.

"This club has all the ingredients to continue to challenge at the very top in both the Premier League and Europe and we want to be here to be part of what I believe will be a special period in the club's history."
