Michael Keane set for permanent switch to Burnley.

According to Goal, Manchester United have agreed a deal with Burnley for young defender Michael Keane.

Keane made his league debut for United earlier this season before joining the Clarets in September on a loan deal with Louis van Gaal placing him behind the likes of Phil Jones, Chris Smalling, Marcos Rojo, Tyler Blackett and Paddy McNair in the pecking order.

The 21-year-old has been handed a prominent role at Burnley having already started 8 games in the Premier League and has been one of the standout performers for Sean Dyche’s side. He will now finalise personal terms with the newly promoted club before being announced as a permanent signing.
