Mikel Arteta is desperate to stay at Arsenal and will sign any contract offered to him by the Gunners.
The Spaniard is out of contract in the summer but he's not going anywhere.
Boss Arsene Wenger confirmed Arteta would be offered a contract in May and he says it will only take five minutes to iron out the details and get the deal signed.
Arteta said: "My only aim is to get back fit and preform for the team.
"As long as I do that, I'm sure that I will continue at this club, given the relationship I have with the club, with the respect I have from everybody here, and because I'm really happy.
"If I don't do that I'm not going to be here but I do not want to be somewhere else if I cannot perform my best and give what I can give.
"In May, when the season is final, we will sit down and talk and it will take five minutes."
