Egypt international Mohamed Salah enjoyed how Liverpool beat Crystal Palace 4-0 on Wednesday evening.

The Reds ran riot over the Eagles at Anfield as they moved closer to securing their first league title in 30 years.

Trent Alexander-Arnold broke the deadlock with a beautiful free-kick in the 24 minute and Mo Salah increased the lead at the brink of half-time with a cool finish.

In the second half, Liverpool continued their fine form as Fabinho’s 55th-minute volley made it 3-0 just before Sadio Mane scored the fourth with 21 minutes to go.

As things stand, if Chelsea beat defending champions Manchester City today Jurgen Klopp's side will be crowned champions of the English top-flight.

The 28-year-old told Sky Sports: "It was great to win like that and it was a great performance. All the players are motivated to win the league and we are motivated to play the best football behind closed doors."

On his goal in the 44th minute, he said: "I give him [Fabinho] all the credit, I just run the space and it was a great ball. To have a game like Everton can happen at any time, we were not in top shape but we had to react and we did well today."

On the opportunity to win the title, he said: "I feel great and since I came here I said I wanted to win the Premier League. We haven't won for a long time. Last year we did great but we didn't win it."
