Modric wants to end career at Real Madrid.

Modric wants to retire at Real.

Real Madrid midfield maestro Luka Modric has revealed he would like to end his playing career at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Modric, who helped Zinedine Zidane's side lift the Undecima in May, joined the Spanish giants from Tottenham Hotspur back in 2012 and has become a key figure for Madrid with his style of play in midfield.

When asked if he reckons he could retire at Madrid, the Croatian told Marca: "Ha! That's my desire, although there are not many players that retire here. Why not? I see it as possible, but we will see what happens in the future. But yes, it's my desire. "Right now I am only thinking about Real Madrid, I have the desire to be here as long as possible. I do not think about other clubs, [or] other leagues."
