Arsenal full-back Nacho Monreal was recalled to the Spain squad by Vincente del Bosque and the Gunners defender admits he is playing with full confidence this season.
Arsene Wenger's side are in third position in the Premier League table and are also in the semi-finals of the FA Cup.
And Monreal who scored the opener in their FA Cup 2-1 win over United, expressed his delight at his fine form this season.
“I’m very happy with the games that I’ve played,” he told Arsenal Player, Arsenal.com reported.
“This season I feel very well with a high confidence and I’m playing most games. I feel fit so I’m happy with my game.
“I would like to get back and play for the national team but I know it’s very difficult because there are three or four other players at the moment who play left back and they are younger [than me].
“It’s complicated but I’m very happy because I’m playing really well for Arsenal. I will try to do it and if I play for Spain one more time or more, I will be proud.”
