Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has admitted that he is satisfied with the way his side have started the 2014-15 Premier League campaign.
The West London club sit at the top of the Premier League table with nineteen points, winning seven out of eight games played and only dropping points at the Etihad following a 1-1 draw to Manchester City who currently sit in second position, five points behind the Blues.
However, Jose Mourinho who returned back to Stamford Bridge last summer from Real Madrid has revealed his delight at the all-round display of his team so far.
Mourinho said: “When teams have the ball we are comfortable, when we have the chance to pass and touch the ball, we are comfortable.
“When we play in counter-attack, we are comfortable. In this moment the team are mature and confident and I’m very happy.
“People on the bench are also coming on strong, the way they are playing, the way they react. John Obi Mikel comes on and gives stability to the team. I think we’re in a good moment.
“When I play Mikel, I don’t need to say something to Nemanja Matic or Cesc Fàbregas or to the team.
“They know what is going to happen, what the team are going to do, they know what Fàbregas can give us when he then plays as a No10 rather than a No8. The team is very solid.”
