Nemanja Matic - Liverpool v Manchester United is a game to enjoy.

Man United are the only side this season to take points off the league leaders.

Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic is looking forward to their Premier League clash against arch rivals Liverpool on Sunday.

The Serbian insists the crunch clash to be played at Anfield tomorrow is 'a game to enjoy.'

United are the only side this season to take points off the league leaders - as they held the Merseyside club to a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford in October.

However Matic says they are ready for the challenge against Jurgen Klopp's Reds.

“Of course it will be another big game for us and Liverpool as we know we are in a good run,” he told manutd.com. “But it’s a game to enjoy, and to compare our qualities with the best players and with one of the best teams. I’m looking forward to that and I’m sure we’ll be ready.”

Speaking of the FA Cup victory over Wolverhampton at Old Trafford in the third-round replay on Wednesday, Matic said: “It was a hard game. They are an amazing team. I think they have top players, some of them I know from the Portuguese league, I played against them like Joao Moutinho and they have top class players.

“We knew that and we knew it wouldn’t be easy and we prepared our best way for that game and I’m happy we’re through. Juan scored an amazing goal and I’m happy for him. We are moving into the next round and we will see who we’ll play next and hopefully we can do something and win this trophy.

“It’s been a busy run of games,” he continued. “In England it’s hard because we play every three days. But that’s why this league has the best players and you have to be ready for that.

“It’s not easy but we need to be mentally strong, prepared and it’s busy this period but at the beginning of February we will have time to rest and we have to use that.”
