Man Utd target Jan Oblak pens new Atleti deal that ends in 2023.
Jan Oblak is “happy” he has extended his contract at Atletico Madrid up until June 2023.
The Rojiblancos goalkeeper, who has been really impressive for Diego Simeone's side since his move from Benfica in July 2014, had two years left on his deal but the Madrid club decided to offer him a new contract for the next four campaigns.
"I'm very happy to have signed a contract extension and to be here," the 26-year-old said as the Sun quoted.
"I'm going to defend these colours to the best of my abilities and continue working hard."
The new agreement reportedly includes a release clause set at around €100million for Oblak, who has become a worthy successor to Thibaut Courtois.
