France international Paul Pogba will be out of action for Manchester United until March after sustaining a thigh injury in the Red Devils' 3-3 draw with Everton at Old Trafford a few weeks ago, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed.

Solskjaer also revealed that Edinson Cavani and Donny van de Beek won’t be involved in United's Europa League clash against Spanish club Real Sociedad in Turin, while Anthony Martial and Scott McTominay are also doubts for the clash on Thursday evening.

“Paul is recovering well," Solskjaer said. "He's starting the treatment but it will still be a few weeks.

“He won't be playing in February, that's for sure, it's still a few weeks before we see Paul definitely.

“Apart from that, we have a couple of doubtful ones, if they'll be fit enough - Anthony and Scott.

“Donny and Edinson are injured unfortunately, muscle injuries, so they won’t travel.”
