Paul Ince slams Man Utd star in rant - "What is he good for? Nothing!"

Premier League great has slammed Manchester United star.

When Romelu Lukaku isn’t scoring for Manchester United, he brings 'nothing' to the table, according to Paul Ince.

Lukaku, who has struggled to score goals this season, found the net at Southampton on December 1, and hadn't scored for the Red Devils since September 15 against Watford. His goal tally has been poor so far as he’s only been able to find the net five times - well off the pace of the current leader, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (who is on 10 goals).

Ince told Paddy Power News: "Lukaku isn't scoring goals at the moment. And when he isn't scoring goals, what is he good for? Nothing. He brings nothing to the table.

"If your main role is a striker, and you're not scoring goals for fun, then what's the point of you being on the pitch?

"If you aren't scoring goals as a striker – you should be dropped. I know his confidence is low but Mourinho needs to think about the team.

"They're in eighth place, which is disgraceful. So, it's all about getting points on the table, and if that means dropping Lukaku then that's what he should do, simple."
