Manchester United legend Paul Scholes said Anthony Martial doesn't look like a striker who cares about missing or scoring goals, adding the Red Devils might have to go into the winter transfer window to get one.
After a bright start to life in at Old Trafford, the France international - who moved from Ligue 1 side Monaco in the summer for £36million - has found it hard to maintain his form, scoring only a goal in 14 appearances for Louis van Gaal's side.
However, the former United midfield maestro Scholes said the 19-year-old doesn't look bothered when he plays.
"He doesn't look bothered if he misses a chance," Scholes said on BT Sport after United's 0-0 draw with PSV in the Champions League.
"He doesn't look bothered if he scores a goal. As a centre forward, all you live for is scoring goals, all you want to do is score goals.
"He doesn't look like one of those players to me and maybe they need to go into the transfer market in January for one of them."
