Los Blancos centre-back Pepe says his teammates are not even thinking about Sergio Ramos' departure.
The 29-year-old defender has been linked with Manchester United throughout the transfer window, with the Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal wanting him to be part of a deal for goalkeeper David de Gea.
But Pepe, who is Ramos' defensive partner at the club, has no doubt he will stay at the Bernabeu.
"I'm fine and I do not think any of us are thinking about what might happen if Sergio leaves us," the Portugal international was quoted saying by the Daily Mirror.
"He's our captain. I'm sure I've that's going to stay with us because he loves the club so much and his team mates.
"There's nothing unusual when we speak, everything is standard. I hope I stays, he's a reference for us."
